數據中心中的綜合布線系統由多個子系統組成，並各個子系統之間所使用的信號大小、頻率高低、鏈路通道肯定也各不相同，因而各個子系統之間都會存在各種負載的干擾。
綜合布線系統的干擾源
1. 來自綜合布線系統周圍環境的干擾源，如：計算機局域網、電信終端設備等;
2. 來自數據中心建築內部的干擾源，如：配電網和配電箱產生的高頻干擾、高頻開關電源產生的干擾等;
3. 來自數據中心建築外部的干擾源，如：雷達、無線電發射設備、流動電話基站等。
一般來說，數據中心的干擾源都具有較高的電場強度，因此綜合布線系統外部存在干擾源時，盈採用屏蔽系統。
